Our Spanish-Speaking Orthodontics Expert
Dr. Elizabeth Recchion received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After completing a one-year Advanced Education General Dentistry residency in San Antonio, Dr. Recchion practiced general dentistry for three years prior to obtaining her orthodontic certificate from St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. Upon graduation from St Barnabas, she received the Scola Kindness Award, given to the resident that demonstrates compassion and empathy for patients and colleagues. Dr. Recchion is also board-certified.
Dr. Recchion loved having braces when she was younger, and her experience inspired her to become an orthodontist.
Dr. Recchion is proficient in Spanish. Outside of the office, Dr. Recchion enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and children. She is an active member of Central Presbyterian Church in Manhattan.
